Hathis' Answer: Minotarumon comes in both champion and ultimate form. The PA one was champion and the Kalypso one is an ultimate, hence the size difference.
From Oapekay: What happened to Joe's digivice? I can't remember it being broken.
Hathis' Answer: I did mention it in the last chapter, but it wasn't meant to be a big detail. In the four years since he'd been to the digital world, Joe accidentally broke his digivice somehow, probably by dropping it or something. Not meant to be very important.
From Tigi Ro'X'lare: Is the TaixRika love issue gonna appear in this one?
Hathis' Answer: The Tai-Rika relationship is a minor subplot of TDO, and I may or may not include it at my discresion. With that in mind, I don't like to introduce subplots and dead-end them, so if you're wanting more of Tai and Rika, don't get too worried about it not happening, but don't get your hopes up about Rika in Kalypso either.

Questions: Chapter Ten
From Oapekay So far, this is the second day in Kalypso, isn't it?
Hathis' Answer: Yes
From Oapekay: Is the digivice [from TDO] not the one from adventure?
Hathis' Answer: Leopardmon constructed the digivices in TDO while Genii and the other guardians constructed the digivices in Adventure, and Leopardmon is a lot less cruel than Genii and the guardians.
From Oapekay: I don't know why Izzy doesn't just find Eric by keep pressing his digivice until he sees a little dot on the other side of the world and... Oh, right, impractical.
Hathis' Answer: Technically, Izzy could keep clicking his digivice until he had all of the digidestined on his digivice, and accounting for space and scale he could probably even figure out where each of the digidestined were (like Eric is somewhere around New York, Zoe somewhere near Naples, etc...), but it would still be a b*tch to try and get into contact with them. Besides, how helpful would Eric really be?

Review Response: Shadow of the Kyuubi
Shadow of the Kyuubi: Nice job; I like how you develop Guilmon's character btw.
I just found this story today, and so far I like it just as much as the first one. I like the way you've managed to make room for the new characters by getting rid of the old ones, but my one criticism is that you might have taken it too far by having megas being killed by rookies.
Hathis: I figured the Dark Beacon would provide an effective plot device for disposing of the older generation: was it too convenient? (Deus Ex Machina to the rescue?) It seemed like it would also provide a reason to fear the evil digidestined even more this time: if the Royal Knights were brutally slaughtered by the evil digidestined in their lowest stage then who has the ability to stop them?
Shadow of the Kyuubi: It just seems that, when you think about it, a Royal Knight should still be able to run away from a rookie or something (I'm mainly thinking of chapter 1.)
To be clear, I'm not criticizing you for using the Dark Beacon again; actually, I think you wrote that in very well. It's just that the first scene where you showed Omnimon getting killed by a rookie slightly bothers me; shouldn't he have been able to de-digivolve or something?
Aside from that, I think that you've written the rest of the story very well so far, and I look forward to reading future chapters.

That's why I had Crusadermon throw her shield down the hall: partially to possibly throw Gaomon off track and to relieve some of the strain. But you're right, I never even considered that the knights would degenerate to spare themselves. I'll come up with some half baked explanation later on to fix that.

Questions regarding TDO: Kalypso, Pre-Chapter Ten
From Oapekay: Izzy seems to have created a gateway to the Digital World much more easily than Kairo (I mean, he used only a digivice, a laptop, and a motorcycle engine, whereas the latter had a large room… thingy which had an overheating problem).
Hathis' Answer: Kairo's machine to get to the digital world is a permanant gateway, while Izzy's is a portal that quickly depletes the power source.
From Oapekay: I’m not sure about a brick’s potential to take out armour-level digimon [Joe threw a brick, it hit Halsemon].
Hathis' Answer: The brick just incapacitated his wing by hitting the joint, allowing Growlmon the ability to knock him out.
From Oapekay One quibble would be that there are large sections of speech where it is not entirely clear who’s speaking (such as right at the start of the Digital World bit) though it would interrupt the flow of the text.
Hathis' Answer: I intentionally made the conversation at the beginning of the chapter difficult to tell who is talking so as to (try to) create a surreal image.
From Oapekay: Wait, what happened to Sepikmon?
Hathis' Answer: He was blown up dude.
From Oapekay: When did Tai get his digivice back? He was certainly using it in chapter one. Unless I’m forgetting, the last we saw of it was Rosemon giving it to Devimon (in Absolution).
Hathis' Answer: In chapter 66 of Piedmon's Absolution, I forgot to write the part where he gets it back [It's there now].
From Oapekay Then JP appears, presmably with the intention to back up his generals, and mentions something about doing something earlier. What something?
Hathis' Answer: Essentially J.P. was just saying that if they had defeated Shurimon a few minutes earlier they would have been able to stop Gaomon from destroying the transmitter.
From Oapekay The "massive shadow" spreads only after the Spire lands; does that mean that they only work when touching the ground?
Hathis' Answer: The massive shadow was Brimpmon blocking the moonlight as it dropped altitude. On a side note, the Dark Spires only broadcast the Dark Beacon, so as soon as it detects the beacon it would be active.
From Oapekay Who was he (Henry) referring to when he said “it came to the others”?
Hathis' Answer: It came to Craniamon just before Henry decapitated him, and don't forget about the Digidestined's numerous allies throughout the digital world (Babamon, MetalTyrannomon, Tekkamon, etc...). Where are they?
From Oapekay: That Devimon left just one Gear behind seem a bit unlikely, so I assume that there is a better reason than ‘he forgot about it’. Also, surely taking slithers of a large gear is a lengthy and tiresome way to create enough Black Gears for every soldier of the glorious revolution.
Hathis' Answer: There are a lot of things going on with this paragraph so I'm just going to say wait and see.
From Oapekay: When are we going to hear more about Myotismon’s powers? Clearly Henry knows about them.
Hathis' Answer: Myotismon's powers were described in chapter fifty five of TDOPA, and the evil digidestined did know of some of his powers while they were working with him on File Island.
From Oapekay: How did Henry know about Piedmon? He was in a mountain for the duration of Piedmon’s return.
Hathis' Answer: Once again: wait and see.
From Oapekay: Is Kairo the same cousin of Takato that appears in Battle of Adventures?
Hathis' Answer: Kairo is my OC for Kalypso: for good reason too. Not only is his personality completely different from Kai's, but he has a very complicated story going on in later books that wouldn't fit with the character's personality from the movie.
